*Alaska Farmland Trust does not require you to have farming experience to enroll in this program. However, we strongly encourage you to enroll in the FarmLink program only if you are serious about farming and have some experience in order to make both your and the landowner’s experience rewarding and successful. Obtaining and farming land whether through lease or sale is a significant investment of money and time, so you should make sure you have both the knowledge and interest to pursue farming.
